Between the Lines

DASHING

A suspended police officer charged with sex offences dashed a photographer at the courthouse and he used the entrance meant for active police officers and remand officers.

FORGOTTEN PATH

A former journalist who now actively tows the government line could not hold back his anger at journalists exposing the truth and questioned why they were doing negative stories.  Someone has lost his way.

BENJAMINS

A large government contingent is heading to the two Samoa talks. More than anything, they are surely looking forward to the envelopes that come with the Benjamins.

IN THE LOOP

As usual, there is no expectation from the government to keep people in the loop as to what will happen in Pago during the talks. Hopefully, this year the travelling government will do a better job.

CAUGHT

CCTV cameras are good protection. In a video making rounds on social media a young woman is seen reaching over the counter to open a cash register to make money out. Smile you are on camera.

SLIPPERY

The Vailoa shooting suspect seems to be as slippery as an eel. His skills could be useful on the rugby paddock but for now, he needs to give himself up to the police.
