On the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the independence of the Independent State of Samoa, I would like to, on behalf of the Chinese Government and people, and in my own name, express warm congratulations and best wishes to Your Highness and to the Samoan Government and people.

Over the past 43 years since the two countries established diplomatic relations, China-Samoa ties have maintained good momentum of development, with expanding exchanges and cooperation in all fields and deepening friendship between the two peoples. 

Attaching great importance to the development of China-Samoa ties, I stand ready to work with you to further deepen mutual political trust and expand practical cooperation, so as to elevate our bilateral strategic partnership to new highs.
