The Chinese Embassy was happy to offer help and arranged for the purchase of 200 sets of brand new desks and chairs.

“Today I am very happy to see that all the desks and chairs are readily set for use for students. I hope students can learn better with better conditions in the new environment,” the Ambassador said.

The Ambassador encouraged students to study hard to gain more knowledge so they can become useful citizens and use their talents to contribute to the development of the community and the society.

Deputy Speaker Nafoitoa thanked Ambassador Wang for the generous donation from China.

He said the donation means a lot to the students, teachers and villagers of the Avao because it helps them realise the dream of providing better conditions for students to study at school.
