Re: President of China writes 

Thank you to the President of China for writing to our Head of State. 

What a kind message from a true friend of Samoa that truly replenish China’s utmost respect for our country.

President Xi Jinping has made a humble gesture to congratulate our newly appointed Head of State despite his busy schedule; what an effort!

Then the Chinese Ambassador personally travelled to deliver the letter for His Highness.

This surely emulates China’s peaceful friendship and being pacifist to develop a war free Pacific; beside China’s financial assistance to help develop Samoa’s infrastructure etc..

It’s such a very high honour for our small country to be respected by a super power especially from President Xi Jinping for our newly appointed Head of State.
