Meet Moe Pua. She’s a registered nurse and mid-wife who resides in Salelologa Savai’i and works a tireless shift roster.

Married with two beautiful boys, Moe is a passionate advocate for health and well being.

“I’m so happy Bluesky did this for Cancer. Every day I add credit to my phone so I can text in to support Pinktober. Sometimes I even eCharge $100 so I can do all my texts,” said Moe.

Moe is the winner of a Brand New Gold iPhone 7 Plus for Bluesky’s ‘Text Pink’ campaign to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and to contribute directly to Samoa Cancer Society.

With over 500 entries Moe was randomly chosen via random.org under Bluesky’s business as usual, stringent selection process for all campaigns with competitions to win.

The campaign ended on Tuesday 31st October and Bluesky contacted Moe to relay the good news to her on Thursday 2nd November. Moe was contacted and the next day she caught the first boat from Savai’i on Friday Morning after her night time shift, to uplift her prize.

“We’re really happy to see the contribution of all our customers to Samoa Cancer Society through our TEXT PINK campaign,” said Bluesky Country Manager Alex Abraham. “It’s even more exciting for us when we see our customers from Savai’i supporting and winning.”

“We’re also looking forward to announcing the contribution our Pinktober campaigns have made and we will present these donations to Samoa Cancer Society next week.”
