SENESE raise funds for fence

The SENESE Inclusive Support Services event to raise much-needed funds to build a new fence for its Vaitele compound last Friday was a great success, thanks to overwhelming public support.

The fundraiser was the first in a series of events to raise funds for the project.

SENESE staff and volunteers worked tirelessly last week to make the event a smooth success, and they raised $3,500.

The Craig Group made a surprising but much welcomed announcement during the SENESE Secondary PTA fundraiser last October, that it will gift SENESE with a brand new headquarters to house its operations and service, as one of the much-loved students of SENESE is their grandchild.

The SENESE board and staff have decided to contribute to the project by raising funds for a security fence to the area. The SENESE Inclusive Support Services hopes to make this an ongoing fortnightly event, until the cost of the fence, which is between $20,000 to $25,000 is achieved.
