No need to worry about Vanuatu

Re: Governor praises amendments to prevent money laundering

Don’t worry about Vanuatu and its affairs Governor, Samoa is on EU blacklist already. If Vanuatu’s government was uncomfortable with their lovely country being put on a “grey list”, I can’t imagine the sensation of being listed on EU’s blacklist.

Stui even went on The Guardian last year to defend his tax evasion scheme as “it provides revenue for social programmes for young people who may otherwise be exposed to illegal drugs”

I don’t know what programme he’s talking about but the number of street vendors, street kids, prostitution seemed to increase since then.

Why then is he rushing to amend Acts concerning money laundering?

The answer is “foreign aid.”

He needs foreign aid from EU, together with taxing faifeaus and befriending Israel. He is basically looking for ways to recoup revenue wasted on the Pacific games.

I hope E.U. demands more to expose what really is going on in S.I.F.A. and the extent of Samoa’s involvement in money laundering and tax evasion.
