Unbelievable

Re: P.M. urges Ministers to stay away from business

Does the P.M. really need to advise his minsters and associate ministers to do the right thing?

Really, either they are ignorant or they are uneducated (a favourite description of the P.M’s).

They should know what constitutes a conflict of interest as well as they can differentiate between night and day.

As for the Tenders Board, surely they would look at the composition of a particular company that has forwarded a tender and see that a majority shareholder in that company is an Associate Minister and therefore see the conflict of interest?

Or are they stupid (another favourite description of the P.M.’s)?

While still on the same matter, I also read Peseta’s comments.

Unbelievable comments by the Associate Minister which clearly illustrates his ignorance on the definition of “conflict of interest”.

It doesn’t matter one iota whether you were not involved in the tendering process. You are a shareholder of that company and you stand to benefit from the transaction of the company - that is clearly a conflict of interest.

This appears to be the underlying rotting seed within the government ranks...ignorance coupled with greed.
