They promised and they delivered. As always.

The Samoa Fa’afafine Variety show wowed the crowd at the E.F.K.S. hall, Sogi, last week.

The show was the Samoa Fa’afafine Association’s contribution to the 55th Independence celebration.

Chief Executive Officer of Samoa Stationery and Books (S.S.A.B.) Fiti Leung Wai congratulated the President of the Samoa Fa’afafine Association, So’oalo Roger Stanley and the committee for a wonderful event.

“In Samoa we need regular events and excitement to stimulate the economy and also to entertain our people as Samoans laugh all the time,” Mrs. Leung Wai  said.

“We laugh about ourselves, with ourselves and of course at others.”

She thanked the S.F.A. for their contribution in so many ways to the development of families, churches and country.

“The other reason why I wanted to thank the S.F.A. is because even though they don’t have much money and resources, this is not a deterrence or obstacle for them to stop organising and coordinating these shows.”

“Thank you S.F.A. for always fundraising to donate to charity, it is such a noble thing to do and may God always bless you for helping and giving back to our community.”

“Thank you also for these shows to help build confidence and bring out talents in a lot of you.”

“As we all know fa’afafafine are so talented, they can do all the boys work and also the girls’ work.”

“I thank you all and encourage you all fa’afafine to shine in different callings and also your talents.”

Here are some photos from the night.
