Members of the Samoa Chamber of Commerce got a glimpse of exciting plans being put in place by the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel during their monthly meeting last week.

The Executive Manager of Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, Selau Solofa, addressed the gatthering, giving a special presentation on the exciting current campaigns and packages offered by Tanoa. 

For instance, Tanoa Tusitala has joined the Grab-a-seat campaign in partnership with Air New Zealand which offers great packages for people flying in from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. 

As well as a great early bird special for June bookings for those travelling this year in December and January 2019, Tanoa has also acquired a 80ft x 60ft marquee available for booking for large events, weddings etc. 

The meeting was sponsored by Tanoa Tusitala Hotel and held at their Conference Room at Sogi.

The meeting was chaired by Samoa Chamber of Commerce Secretary, Seulupe Michelle MacDonald, who provided an update to members of the upcoming activities of the organisation. 

The Samoa Chamber of Commerce C.E.O., Lemauga Hobart Vaai spoke briefly on the excise and tariff rates as well as the Chamber’s submission to Government on the Independence Public Holidays. 

There was also a presentation by Frankie’s Company about their upcoming Frankie 2018 Food and Wine Trade Expo on the 25th and 26th June 2018 by Frankie’s Company representative Kevin Schuster.

Mr. Schuster highlighted that this event is a great networking opportunity for businesses as there will be overseas suppliers attending. 

The Samoa Food and Wine Trade Expo is expected to bring together businesses and individuals to celebrate Food and Wine in Samoa. 

Two new members were introduced and they were Cell City / Samoa Marketplace.com / Sekideals.com as well as Climate Air Conditioning.
