The 30th of December 2017, will forever be embedded in the hearts of Albert and Rebecca Tupuola.

It was the day the love birds tied the knot and sealed their love in Holy matrimony in front of God, families and friends.

Held in New Zealand, Mr. Tupuola said their journey to the altar was well worth the wait.

Having been dating for more than a year, Tupuola said he was in love with his wife’s character which depicted the values of a real Samoan woman.

“Family is the most important thing to us and one of the things we had in common.

“Our wedding day was amazing and if we could do it all over again, we would do so in a heartbeat.

“First and foremost, all glory and honour to our Lord for His unconditional love and blessings upon us.

“Our prayers did not go unanswered, God has truly been sufficient in this previous season of our lives, and I cannot wait to see what he has in store for us,” said Tupuola.

The groom is the main character of the Matai series.

He is the son of Sepelini Tupuola and Wendy Fa’apoi of Luatuanu’u, Falefa and Amaile, Aleipata.

The bride is the daughter of Rev. Faamanutuga Apelu and Faletua Nasareta Apelu who oversee the United Samoan Pentecostal Church, Mangere New Zealand.

The newly-wedded couple thanked their parents and grandparents who are their pillars of strength.

“Thank you for your never ending prayers over us,” Tupuola said.

Their wedding was a testament of love and family support.

“Marriage is a sacred covenant that we won’t take lightly and we thank those who have also prayed relentlessly over our journey thus far,” said Tupuola.
