Samoans joined the Melbourne Cup fun on Tuesday at Vailima.

This was thanks to the Rotary Club’s biggest annual fundraiser.

The Melbourne Cup Extravaganza at the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum was well attended with a display of the crazy unique hats that the Cup is known for.

There was great company, overflowing drinks, food and of course some money to be won.

According to Rotary Samoa Club member Titilia Tuileva, this has been an ongoing annual event for the Rotary Club.

“The Rotary Samoa club has been using this Australian exciting event to raise funds for all the projects that we are working on,” she said.

She said this was the major fundraiser of their club.

Here are some more photos from the event.
