Wedding joy for Raedena and Uelese Savea

Raedena Tutuila Solomona and Uelese Savea celebrated their union in holy matrimony yesterday with friends, associates and families.

Their special day started at the Methodist Church at Faleula where Reverend Fa’avevela Tuātō of the Siusega Methodist Church blessed their marriage.

Raedena is the daughter of the late Matai’a Taliilagi Mailo and Lutuiloa Vaiula Siālaoa-Solomona. She hails from the villages of Alafua, Siusega, Lefagaoalii Siumu, Falealili, Sato’alepai, Tafitoala and Vaiala.

A strong advocate for climate change, Raedena is a Senior Insurance and a Finance Officer at Apia Insurance. Her maid of honor was her sister Atarana Sepora Katalina Solomona.

The groom on the other hand is the son of the late Savea Auomanū and Talaitaua Savea Auomanū. A Technician at South Pacific Waters, he hails from the village of Vailoa Palauli.

His best man was his best friend Anthony Tauauve’a.

During the reception at the Tuanaimato Gym 1, Chief Justice, His Honor Patu Tiavasu’e Falefatu Sapolu encouraged the newlyweds that love is the key to a successful marriage.

“In this life you can only get married once,” he told the couple.

“Life is a storm but a family that is founded on God can conquer anything that life throws at them.May the newlyweds be blessed.”

His HonourPatu was among a list of government dignitaries and high profile members of the community who celebrated with the couple well into the night last night.
