Bluesky promised and they delivered.

Good music, great vibes and the Legendary Artist, Fiji – with many others -  provide the recipe for a night to remember.

Friday night in front of the Government building was the place to be as families, fans and music lovers gathered for what was arguably the greatest free concert this year.

The team at Bluesky hosted a star studded concert in celebration of their newly launched, 4G+ Network.

The much anticipated line up featured a star studded list of Polynesians from around the world.

Heading the line up was legendary artist George Veikoso “Fiji”, who absolutely brought the house down.

He performed classic songs such as “Indigenous Life”, “Sosefina”, “Chant of the Islands” and more.

His unique sound ricocheted throughout Apia and could be heard from miles away. Even performing  sitting down, Fiji proved to sound just as good as he does on his albums.

The following  performances throughout the night were just as incredible.

Drew Deezy, Kiwani Vitale and Laga Savea also performed classic singles that had the crowd up on their feet and grooving to the irie lyrics.

The concert also featured local artists which was met with great cheers from the crowd.

Ben Petana, Ben Vai and Lapi Mariner, to name a few familiar names, were warmly welcomed from the crowd of cheering fans.

Local celebrities took the stage to showcase the talent breed locally.

Miss. Samoa’s Priscilla Olano was the MC for the night along side Ben Petana.  Miss Olano absolutely stunned on stage with her elegant sky blue puletasi.

Also, Samoa’s Reigning Best Dance Crew, Blackie Yes!, was the opening act.  They performed a rendition of their routine that won them the title along with a few twists.

Needless to say , it was a wondrous night under the stars and surely one no one will forget anytime soon. The party continued at Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s last night.
