Twin sisters reported missing during the weekend have been found.

This was confirmed by the Police in a statement yesterday.

“The Samoa Police Service wishes to inform members of the public that twin sisters Isapela and Anapela Asuasu who were reported missing from their home on Friday 8th June 2018 have reunited with their parents this morning Monday 11th June 2018,” the statement reads.

“The two sisters were with families on the weekend and were not aware that their parents have sought the assistance of police when they did not return home on Friday evening.

“The Samoa Police Service would like to take this opportunity to advice relatives to please get in contact with parents of young children to ensure that they are safe.

“We thank members of the public for sharing this post which enabled the relatives to become aware of this situation.”
