I was responding to what was reported and you are correct in that you deserve to be heard and for that I apologize, but be on notice that I am a brother to my people first before a partisan to a resistance cause in any platform. 

I do mean what I said that I liked you and we have met on a few occasions through your former political associates in that of Palusalue Faapo whom is a personal friend, Lefau, Wood Salele, Toeolesulusulu Cedric, Le’avai Dr Peni, Aveau Niko and most of your former colleagues and them all. 

You are the only member of the last opposition party that I am not of a personal acquaintance. I like to congratulate you on this personal forum for making it back to Mulinu’u when most of your friends didn’t. 

I am very familiar with the nightlife in the Apia area as was a young man myself. I am a matai from Fa’asaleleaga of my mother’s birth, born and raised up in Apia. Am of your age if not a little older and in my young foolish days witness the brutal of night club bouncer’s or securities that may have resulted in the loss of life, and maybe perhaps where my sentiments of night club squabbles are born. 

Selective treatment from the Board may perhaps be the reason for your misfortune. E asa le faiva ae le asa le masalo, but if your securities were involved or the fight starts from/ with participants, customers or patrons of the club then e aafia lava foaga ae le’i fai misa because of the location. 

The general conclusion is Guilty because it was there. 

If you can re-collect the bad old days of Mt. Vaea night club was notorious not because of the place but because of the street people from surrounding areas that uses the night club and it’s surrounding streets as a place to congregate and seek action and thrills in the evening. Village street fights can be an issue and if that is the picture here, then we a problem. There is another place in town that needs it’s liquor license revoked if not a total shut down but I’m not gonna mention them here for now.

You maybe a victim of a social issue in our society of not growing up and immaturity which is all a picture of a poverty mentality that we cannot seem to have a fix for it just yet. 

If members of the public involved in that street fight were customers at your establishment, it’s all the more reason for you to ensure save passage at least away from your vicinity.

I do thank you however in taking the opportunity to respond and perhaps a rather good culture that maybe the government and its officials needs to do more off, of been accountable to their actions.

I am a people’s man first. I do hope you understand that, and the hope that one day we do finally shake hands at your club over a cold one to talk this over.
