PR - A valued National Pacific Insurance (N.P.I.) customer recently called NPI directly from the ambulance immediately after a horror motor vehicle accident in Tuana’imato, Apia.

Joanne Rasmussen, General Manager of N.P.I. in Samoa, said when her team received the call, the main concern was making sure the customer was safe and checked by the ambulance staff.

“We reassured him that his health and wellbeing was the most important and to not worry as we could hear the paramedics wanting to talk to him. We were very relieved the customer was alright”.

Yesterday, Lafi Esera visited the N.P.I. Apia office to receive his settlement claim.

“We were pleased to get Mr Esera back on the road as quickly as possible and sorted out his claim within less than a week,” said Ms. Rasmussen, “we know our customers have confidence and trust in NPI to set things right for them.”

Ms. Rasmussen says the case shows how important it is for people to have insurance.

“Having insurance means our customers can focus on the future and when things go wrong in their lives, we’re here to set things right for them,” she said.

“N.P.I. is the leading insurer in the Pacific and has been part of the community in Samoa for over 40 years.  During this time I am proud to say N.P.I. has already helped many customers through fires and natural disasters. We’re committed to supporting our customers and their communities into the future.”
