Dear Editor
As a frequent visitor to Samoa I would like to express my delight and relief at the vast reduction in the dog population.
Having been attacked a couple of years ago I have steadfastly avoided walking anywhere in Apia. It is now possible to stroll unmolested giving the opportunity to appreciate the wondrous natural beauty of this magnificent island.
My heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the Samoan Police for this great achievement in public safety.
