Visitors to Samoa have one more option to choose from in terms accommodation.

They can add the Ulalei Lodge at Vaiala to their list of accommodation choices after the property was officially opened on Tuesday.

At the cost of $300,000, the Ulalei Lodge is the sister property of the Jet Over Hotel in Salelologa Savai’i. It is owned and managed by Ali’imuamua Kereti Ah Liki and her family.

Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi praised the work done by Ali’imuamua in the development of tourism in Samoa.

“This is one of the many projects run by Ali’imuamua which caters for the need of our people and also contributes to the tourism industry of Samoa,” Tuilaepa said.

He added that the Lodge would open doors in terms of job opportunities for the youth of Samoa.

He was also impressed about the location of the lodge which has an ocean view, and is closer to the Taumeasina Island Resort which is soon to be completed.

“This is a good development for our country,” he said.

Father Muliau Stowers blessed the property.

The C.E.O of Samoa Housing Corporation, Mata’utia Rula Levi, cut the ribbon.

The celebration was extra special because it went in line with the celebration of Mrs. Ah Liki’s birthday.

The lodge has six bedrooms.
