It’s laughable

Re: Attorney General’s Office ‘conflicting’ role questioned

So laughable this convoluted legal mess. So frustrating the inability of the Attorney General office to gain control of the situation. The inexperienced lawyers don’t help.

Suitupe Misa has a good case but only if his lawyer is competent and tough enough to fight through the muddle that is Samoa’s judicial system.

You have questions for Egon Keil? Put him on the stand to testify. Why can’t he be forced to testify? Seems like someone is stalling the whole process evading questions and before we know it this case will also end up being dismissed with no consequences.

Just like the majority of highly charged and politicised cases previously tried in Samoa. Somebody somewhere with political connections will make it go away and life goes on. Such a travesty of justice and an insult to all our common sense.

Either that or Egon Keil will get sick of his suspension and pack his bags and return to L.A to ride his motorcycles as he did before he became the Commissioner in our tiny islands. He can go back with guns blazing to the streets of L.A or NYC where they’re used to that kind of harsh horrific treatment.

There’s no room in Samoa for cowboy policing when our traditional ways call for some disputes to be solved through verbal give and take - Ava fatafata ma le va fealoa’i. I’d like to call on the Attorney General to step up but seeing that it’s a government appointed position oi aueeeee maimau se le kaimi.
