In congratulating the graduates, Faculty of Education head, Vui Faapōpō Tauaanae said: “What the National University has given you through the Oloamanu Centre for Professional Development and Continuing Education is not a fish to feed you for a day; you have been given the knowledge, skills and methodology to catch your own fish everyday of your life.

“Certificates are now in your hands that testify your ability to teach because you now join a group of trained teachers, trainers, mentors all over the world,” she said.

Ms. Tauaanae added: “You should go all the way and attain the certificate in adult teaching as there are seven courses that needs to be taken in order for you to fully attain certificates in Adult Teaching.”

“During the C.A.T. teaching and learning course, we have learnt a lot, modern professional tools and techniques of course preparation and delivery, to achieve competency in various curriculum delivery processes,” he said.

As a teacher, you prepare with your mind, but you should teach with your heart.
