PR - Digicel has launched new prepaid rates, following approval from the Regulator, once again taking the lead in helping its customers to enjoy the lowest rates in the market while connecting with loved ones.

There are also now more choices available to customers with plans tailored to suit their needs. The current Classic Plan and Anytime Plan are now joined by the new Long Talkers Plan, aimed at providing even more value to those customers who talk for longer.

The Classic Plan offers you different peak and off-peak rates at 59 sene and 39 sene respectively, for calls to any network. The Anytime Plan offers a flat rate of 43 sene per minute to any network at anytime, and based on 6 second billing. The new Long Talkers plan offers a flat rate of 36 sene per minute to any network at anytime, billed on a per minute basis.

Peak hours are from 8am to 7.59pm, while Off-Peak hours are from 8pm to 7.59am.

Digicel CEO Rory Condon said “At Digicel we want our customers to be happy.  We pride ourselves on delivering world-class telecommunications and excellent customer service. I’m happy to say that Digicel continues to have the lowest calling rates in the market.  With us, customers always get great value, great service and now even more choices.”

The new rates will take effect at 12.00am, Friday 13th May.

“As well driving down the cost of mobile calls, Digicel has also introduced huge savings on its DigiFixed rates, Digicel’s alternative to landline. Customers with a Digifix only pay unbeatable 18 sene per minute for calls any mobile, and 10 sene per minute to any landline.”

The new Digifixed rates are expected to save each customer hundreds of tala off their current landline bills per year.
