The Webb Ellis Cup was the main feature at the Captains Photo Shoot with Manu Samoa Captain David Lemi and Flying Fijians Captain Akapusi Qera at the Taumeasina Island Resort.

“Preparations are going well and the boys are ready and are looking forward to playing in front of our home crowd,” Manu Samoa Captain David Lemi said on Wednesday.

He said the Manu Samoa team will capitalize and seize this opportunity to qualify for RWC2019.

“We are focusing a lot on performance building on lessons learnt from our last two matches,” Lemi said.

He said the team wants to concentrate on their discipline this time around and give it their all at Apia Park today.

Lemi is calling on all in Samoa to come and support the boys.

Meanwhile Flying Fijians Captain Akapusi Qera said preparations have been good so far.

“We’ve had a tough few weeks given our campaign and this weekend is an important one for the boys in our quest to defend our Pacific Nations Cup title,” Qera said.

“I have faith in the team and in the boys though that they will perform well this Saturday.”

Qera has urged Fijian supporters and Fijians living in Samoa to come in numbers and support the team today.

“We saw this (Fijian support) in Tonga and today we hope to put a smile on the faces of those back home and our supporters here in Samoa,” Qera added.
