Sad about the Manu Samoa
Dear Editor,
I stayed up late to watch Manu Samoa in anticipation of any improvements.
I was disappointed.
Manu got hammered in the scrums by a massive French forward pack.
The French backline had size and mobility as well.
The secret of France’s success is their recruitment of foreign players.
Samoa needs to start looking for young big mobile players from New Zealand and Australia to remain in the top 10 of Rugby.
One player I was surprised to still be in the Manu was David Lemi. He is in his 30s. I don’t look forward to any of Manu’s games anymore.
