Cabinet is expected to announce a new Chief Executive Officer for the Samoa National Provident Fund (S.N.P.F.).

Although it has not been officially confirmed, the Samoa Observer has been told by informed sources that Pauli Prince Suhren is set to be named the Fund’s new C.E.O.

The decision was made by Cabinet yesterday following the usual selection process and a recommendation from the Selection Panel.

The incumbent C.E.O, Faumuina Esther Lameko-Poutoa, has held the post for three terms and was among the applicants who were shortlisted.

Pauli who currently holds a senior position at the Development Bank of Samoa (D.B.S.) could not be reached immediately for a comment last night.

It was also not possible to get a comment from the Ministry of Prime Minister and Cabinet at press time about the appointment.
