SYDNEY (AP) " London Olympic gold medalist Sally Pearson says she is unsure when she'll make a competitive comeback to the 100-meter hurdles as her fractured left wrist continues to heal.

Pearson on Wednesday said she has no clear time frame for her return to racing after breaking two bones and dislocating her wrist in a fall at a Diamond League meet in Rome in June.

However, the 29-year-old Australian said the complicated arm surgery won't hinder her quest to defend her Olympic title at Rio de Janeiro in August.

Pearson says "I'm just doing the hard yards ... November and December is really tough, my coach will let me know when he wants me to race. I feel really good but it's still probably a month or two away."
