Re: Fear in public service lamented 

Everybody knows that if you are a public servant who speaks up against the government or their policies, you will suffer. More concerning is the amount of public servants relative to the working population. 

Over 14per cent of those of working age are employed by the state. When you compare to available labour force statistics of 50,100 in 2016, it is a staggering 33.9per cent. 

For comparison, countries like Australia and New Zealand are at around 20%.

You would think at this rate government services would be somewhat better than they are.
