Miracle Beauty Salon welcomes you

After working alongside and behind the scenes for many special occasions as a hairdresser in Samoa, Miracle Unoi Sanerivi now has opened up her own hair salon at Falelauniu.

From humble beginnings, Miracle is now living her dream of having her own beauty salon, called ‘Miracle’s Beauty Salon.’

In an interview with the Sunday Observer, Miracle said she discovered her passion for hairdressing at a very young age.

“When I was young, I saw how beautiful hairstyles could change a person’s look and how it lifts their spirits,” she said.

“And I knew back then that I wanted to be that person to transform how people look and to lift up people’s spirit by fixing their hair.”

The 23-year-old is a graduate from the Cut Above Academy in New Zealand.

“I moved to Samoa with my family six years ago, after realizing what I wanted to become,” she said.

“I pursued this dream and landed a job at Double D’s.”

Working at Double D’s Salon has cemented her passion for hair, and it was where she started to build her ability to work in achieving her client’s desires.  “I started to build my experience and confidence under the supervision and guidance of Mrs. Donna Fonoti who has been, and always remains, a great mentor and mother figure in my career.

“After five years of doing hair and enjoying the company of many colleagues, I knew I would someday want to pursue this dream alone and from the comfort of my own home where I could not only do what I love the most, but have more time with the people I love.”

And Miracle achieved that dream. She now works from home and has catch ups with her parents between her clients.  However, Miracle said she owes everything to God and her family.

“My work and success has been a great blessing to me personally and I give all the credit to God,” she said. “And secondly, to my parents and brothers who have nothing but praise and encouragement for me and my work.

“I have been blessed in the sense that I have not had many hurdles or challenges to overcome in order for me to get to where I am today.”

Miracle said her inspiration to go forward is drawn from the phrase “The sky is the limit.”

“Have a goal and put your faith and effort into it,” she said.

“I’m still working towards the bigger dream and pray Samoa sees what I have to offer to all the beautiful women and girls out there.

“I find being a hairdresser really rewarding. There’s a great satisfaction in knowing that I’m influencing  how amazing, confident and happy a client can feel after they’ve had their hair styled and been pampered.”
