Change is needed

Re: The bad and the ugly

There is nothing disgusting about those well-intentioned police exposing the deeds of the well-entrenched corrupt officer’s.

Without them the status quo prevails and we end up ignorantly supporting a corrupt police service when what we need is a clean and authoritative service that we can trust to uphold the laws and make Samoa a safe place for all.

If my 7 year old son said “daddy, when I grow up I want to be a policeman” I would be horrified right now, instead of proud.

I hope that the new wave prevails over the corrupt pack of dogs that have been running things in the past, making the police force a proud career destination for Samoan 7 year olds.
