An open invitation from TV3, Samoa

Come one, come all is the invitation from the Apia Broadcasting Corporation TV3 in partnership with the Church of the Latter Day Saints who will be providing a spectacular show of lights and Christmas Carols in front of the government building from tonight December 18th til Christmas Eve.

For the first time the Corporation has ventured out to ensure that the spirit of the season is felt by the community not only through its live broadcast of this event over the next 7 days but it is set in a most popular venue in town where families and friends can gather round and celebrate the Lords birthday with the entertainments and carol singing that various church denominations  and local singing artists will be providing each night.

During the day a one stop shopping area has been set up with Farm Fairs and Business Stalls are offering its products and services to the community.

Like the Teuila Festival the ‘My Island Christmas Lights & Carols Festival’ will be an annual event that will ensure the reason for the season is remembered and thanked for guiding our Samoan community from January to December.

Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi is expected to switch on the Spectacular Lights Display to officially open the My Island Christmas Lighs and Carols Festival.
