This is going south quickly

Dear Editor,

Re: Govt. drops Virgin

It’s kinda worrying to see that the Government is looking at restarting Poly’s international operation. I hope they’ve done their homework and hired the right people for the top positions.

At the moment, we don’t.

We need to secure some investors with deep pockets to help finance this venture (key word their “DEEP POCKETS”) that rules out the Samoan Taxpayers

With the Government Open Sky policy ... what’s stopping Virgin Australia from flying into Apia after December?

Now you have Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia with endless resources going against what? The Come Back Kid?

I was going to compare it to a David and Goliath stand off but then I realized ... it’s really an insult of epic proportion to David to compare him to Poly’s chances going against two of the Pacific most successful carriers

At least David had a chance. The Almighty was on his side. Who do we have?

C’mon we need to get the basic stuff sorted first people, there is a 99.9% chance of this going south and only .01% of it being successful.

Stevie Wonder can see this is a bad deal...in poker terms, it’s a bad hand.

As one old hand in Aviation once said ........”If you don’t like money start an International Airline.”
