Re: Robbed of his basic right, Leo’o is “both relieved and sad”

The new Electoral law was deliberate and so was the appointment of the new Electoral Commissioner - to prevent certain candidates from running and to ensure H.R.P.P wins the election again.

In other words they needed a puppet to do their dirty work.

This was discussed and debated way before it happened. 

I’ve been saying all along prior to and after the recent elections that it was corrupted like the previous elections. 

To be fair, they should have bi-elections instead P.M. Tuilaepa and the Electoral Commissioner are sweeping it under the carpet and pretending nothing happened. 

This is exactly why they got rid of the other Electoral Commissioner Papali’i Malietoa Malietau without a good reason because he refused to do their dirty work. 

Even the Head of State wrote a letter to P.M. Tuilaepa to explain why the then Electoral Commissioner was sacked - till this day there has been no response. Again, they swept it under the carpet and carried on like nothing happened.
