Nearly five years after they exchanged vows at their local chapel, young couple Ingrid and Leon Roache took an important step in their lives this week.

They wanted to have their vows sealed at the L.D.S Temple in Pesega.

This time, the couple was joined by their children ReeNada and DirgNoel Roache for the occasion.

“This is one of special moments and memories that we have made,” says the couple.

“We were married in 2013 in our chapel and set a goal for our family to be Seal for time and all Eternity in the Temple.

“We have a strong testimony of that ‘Families can be together forever’ only when we are sealed in the Temple.

“But there were humps on the road and a few pot holes which kept us behind. This is one ‘slow but sure’ experience we have.

“We say to ourselves that this is the best decision we have ever made in a long time.”

Leon and Ingrid have been together for seven years and three months, married for four years and seven months.

Ingrid is from Papaloloa and Leon is from Lotopa. They were married at their Moto’otua chapel.

“Today, we are one day down and Eternity to go,” says Ingrid.

“I am grateful for my husband’s change of heart. He has been through a lot and I had to wait. Waiting was never easy, it sometimes tempted me to let go.

“But I received a great counsel from one good old friend which helped me go through the odds.

“Wait for God’s timing and Reward will come and be optimistic.”

“So today, I acknowledge the great support from families, work mates, friends, ward members and everyone who was there when we needed encouragement.

“All I had to tell myself was, ‘Things will work out’ and it worked out perfectly.”
