The Police are investigating two suspicious deaths from last week.

Police Spokesperson, Inspector Su’a Muliaga Tiumalu, said the first case involves a Fijian man living in Lotopa.

The man was found dead on his bed at his house.

“Police are investigating what the cause of death is,” said Su’a.

“There are no other details about the man other than that he worked at Sai Motors.”

Another suspicious death is a male of about 30 – 40 year old from Savai’i who was found dead under a tree at Salelologa.

Su’a said the man found under a tree in front of Tui and Masi Retzlaff’s property last week.

“He had no injuries just blood coming out of his mouth and ears,” he said.

“The cause of death could not be confirmed but a doctor has suggested to have a post mortem to confirm this.”

The Spokesperson said no one has identified the deceased as their relative.
