What perfect way to welcome Christmas for the newly-wed couple, Junior Tolufale Gaugau Mauola Faiese and Maselina Lolo Fesuai Muao, who expressed their affection for each other through Holy Matrimony.

The wedding was held at the Apia Samoa Temple last Saturday where the couple exchanged vows to love for time and all eternity in front of God, families and friends.

The groom is the second of six children of Gaugau Mauola Faiese and Lupe Mauola Faiese from the villages of Luatuanu’u, Manono.

Maselina is the sixth of the seven children of Tuiofelua Lolo Fesuia’i Muao and Amelia Fesua’i Muao from the villages of Salani and Tafatafa Falealili.

It is without a doubt that the lovebirds are a match made in heaven. Wonder why?

They’re both born on May 22, 1991 at the Motootua Hospital and have just recently returned from the Latter Day Saints missionary work.

Perhaps it was these life factors that united them or their shared qualities of humility, kindness and love.

The couple believe that “A day without laughter is a day wasted and taking time for each other is the key for harmony at home”.

Si’ulai Faapo from Sydney Australia was the best man while Ignacia Tumanuvao of Lotopa as maid of honour.

The wedding reception was held at the Maota o Samoa with families and friends from Samoa, Australia and New Zealand celebrating the new journey for Mr. and Mrs. Faiese.

The couple will return home to Auckland, New Zealand, after their honeymoon in Fiji.
