B.S.P. backs leadership Samoa project

The partnership between Bank South Pacific and the Leadership Samoa programme continues to grow from strength to strength, with the bank coming on board as a bronze sponsor for the Samoa Sports Awards 2016.

A project led by the Leadership Class of 2015 which included B.S.P’s Manager of Operational Risk & Compliance, Peti Setu-Leiataua, the event aims to empower Samoan athletes to continue to play sports through the celebration of their talent, success and achievements.

B.S.P Business Manager Michelle Lemisio congratulated the Samoa Leadership Class of 2015 on coming up with this initiative. 

 “We strongly encourage the future leaders of Samoa to utilize their creativity and personal talents in order to create original projects such as this,” she said. “I would like to commend the Chairman, Aiono Ken Peseta and graduates of the Class of 2015 for their efforts in putting this event together.”

B.S.P has donated $15, 000 towards the event which is slated for Saturday 10 December 2016 and will be sponsoring the Empowered Athlete with a Disability of the Year Award.
