Rukutai International Pty Ltd., a Queensland-based China product sourcing company owned by Samoans, Carolyne and Reg Schwenke, has just announced two new “world firsts” on its new web site – www.Rukutai.com.au.

In an exclusive partnership with one of the world’s largest China-based product sourcing companies, Rukutai is now the world’s only company offering exclusive China business product sourcing group tours of motivated business owners, entrepreneurs and buyers – on individually-personalised, fully-escorted luxury 10-day tours to China.

Even more significant, the two companies now offer the world’s first end-to-end – client product sourcing to final product drop shipping – services from China for all e-Commerce and conventional businesses globally.

Specifically, Rukutai and its China sourcing partner source, purchase, warehouse, pick, pack and send client China-made products to their customers worldwide from their huge warehouse facility in China.

This new China-based drop shipping service will save clients – compared with other international drop shipping services like Amazon and Shopify – tens of thousands of dollars in import shipping costs, insurance, Customs duties, lost time, much lower warehousing and handling fees.

Currently, millions of e-Commerce and traditional companies ship their lowest-cost China-sourced products to overseas drop shipping warehouses from China for international sales distribution.

Rukutai’s client target market are business owners who don’t know who to trust or work with in China. They need reliable and trustworthy agents to source and buy the lowest priced, highest-quality factory direct or factory wholesale products from China – at prices up to 80% lower (and sometimes more) than their domestic wholesalers.

Others talk. Rukutai delivers.

The two companies are so confident in their services and savings since Rukutai’s exclusive China sourcing partner currently ships more than 10,000 product containers every year from China for its international clients.

They have also negotiated pricing contracts with over 50,000 factories direct or factory wholesalers; have shipped client goods to over 200 countries; have over 500 English speaking staff; and have a dedicated product sourcing staff of more than 300 people in different cities in China. No other China-based sourcing company can say the same. Their client roster currently includes some of the world’s largest and most famous retail brands.

The main benefit for Rukutai clients is that its group sourcing concept and buying power represents tens of millions of dollars of potential purchasing volume to its China sourcing partner. That translates to maximum cost savings for Rukutai’s clients in a classic win-win relationship with its China sourcing partner.

“We offer a one stop, full stop, seamless single solution services from China at cost savings they won’t find elsewhere else in the world,” according to Rukutai co-founders Reg and Carolyne Schwenke.

Carolyne-Craig Schwenke, the daughter of Allen Craig and Te Ani Kimioranga Cribb Craig, (Ngati Raukawa, Maniapoto and Tainui Iwi) was born in New Zealand but lived in Samoa for a number of years as a student at Church College of Western Samoa (CCWS) and later as a flight attendant for Polynesian Airlines in the late 1970s. Her Craig family in Samoa are prominent business owners. Carolyne owned a number of family businesses in New Zealand, China and now Australia.

Reg Schwenke was also born and raised in New Zealand, but lived in Samoa for a number of years. He attended CCWS for one year before becoming a reporter and later chief reporter for The Samoa Times in the early 1970s – when it was Samoa’s largest newspaper. He went on to become the first Samoan reporter at The Auckland Star, The Honolulu Advertiser and Pacific Business News in Honolulu (where he placed second in a national USA journalism competition for Investigative Reporting) and Editor/Publisher for TotalBlueSports.com. He was also Senior Vice President at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii for five years.

Both Reg and Carolyne are also co-founders of the annual Aloha World Sevens Rugby tournament in Honolulu. Mahonri Schwalger’s Rugby Academy Samoa represented the country this year, placing second to a New Zealand team coached/owned by current All Black Liam Messam.

Rukutai’s exclusive worldwide travel supplier, Corporate Travellers Groups, is a member of the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) – one of the world’s largest travel agency groups. FCTG’s corporate travel management network spans more than 90 countries with more than 2,800 leisure, corporate and wholesale businesses in 14 countries, including China. It is currently a $18 billion business consisting of more than 40 brands, employs more than 19,000 people globally.

In 2007, Rukutai was granted a coveted 20-year Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE) China business licence to conduct business in seven different sectors of commerce – International business, Education, Immigration, Travel, Technology, Financial Investments and Environmental Management.

“We’ve weathered the storms and challenges from years of living in and operating our business from China -- and look forward to sharing our wealth of knowledge and expertise,” the company co-founders remarked.
