First impressions are always important for first time visitors to Samoa and Australian Kyle Walters is in that class.

The Brisbane resident flew into Samoa for a vacation as his partner works here and he does not regret his decision – in fact he is blown away by the hospitality, he has vowed to return to the island for holidays.

It has been a week since he flew into the country from Brisbane and he has found the island relaxing and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the Australian metropolis.

The lifestyle of the Samoans as well as their connection to their culture, especially the respect that they have for others, has got him blown away.

“It feels good to be in Samoa for the first time. The people are so lovely, kind and very helpful. The place is beautiful and it feels comfortable to go to places at certain times.”

“I would’ve been in Samoa if it wasn’t for my partner. She works for the people who owns the Taumeasina and since she is here in the Island that is why I’m here to spend the holidays here,” he said, in an interview with the Samoa Observer.

Mr. Walters is currently staying at the Taumeasina Island Resort and he is happy with the customer service.

Thanks to the fun he has had since his arrival in Samoa, he has vowed to return to the island for holidays.

Both Samoa Airways and Virgin Australia operate direct services between Brisbane and Samoa, ensuring Australian travelers do not have to travel to New Zealand to get to Samoa.
