Local company Business Systems Limited has continued its support for local talent through the donation of 12 new uniforms for the Scopa’s sevens rugby team.

BSL customer service manager, Leeroy Feaunati, said the uniform donation is worth $5,000.

“On behalf of Tiufea and Meilan Meredith, management and staff, we present these uniforms towards the Scopa club. It is with the hope that this donation will assist our local players in developing their skills with the hope that they can be future Manu Samoa players. But we advise that you all use these jerseys wisely,” he said.

A representative from the Scopa Club, Taito Louis Lene, expressed his sincere gratitude for the donation.

“On behalf of our club we thank you BSL for your never ending support, we have been in partnership with BSL for a long time.”

“They have not only showed their support through monetary form but also through uniforms.”

“A lot of the members from our club are employed in BSL, we just finished with the Marist tournament and even though it was unsuccessful but we are grateful for the experience which is beneficial for us,” Taito said.

Taito also stated that their goal is to have a lot of their players to be selected for Samoa’s team.

“It is with our dream and goal to develop the local talent so that they are able to acquire positions to represent their country in the future.”

“We hope to continue this partnership into the future.”
