Love covers multitude of sin

Dear Editor,

Re: P.M.’s attack on media

I agree with the P.M. on this. How many times do accidents happen in Samoa and we never hear of it on radio or newspaper?

Well! I guess the reporters are doing their job of reporting a.k.a faikakala.

Even small things that happen in Samoa koeikiki oo se pe o se isumu ka ke vaai ai i luga o le FB.

But I remember Samoa as a country who covered up almost everything cos we thought it is embarrassing to show the world and others our business. That is the Samoa I grew up knowing.

E ufiufi mea uma i le alofa kusa lava poo le a e malo le alofa oga o le alofa i lesi uso a kagaka. Kaimi gei, kiga foi maka vaai soo i lea mea ma lea mea lipoki mai, kilokilo mai le lalolagi ia Samoa si kamai menty ae makuai kele le mau mea kukupu. Va fealoa’i is what I grew up learning in Samoa.

I want my Samoa back. We covered up for each other. And whoever disagrees with me and think that this never happened. Please, we all know it did. But as I said, we never spread anything cos our LOVE covers multitude of sins.
