Last Friday will forever be etched in the hearts of Luafata Simanu from Vaitele-fou and Aukuso Eneli from Papasataua.

It was the day they exchanged their vows in front of God, family and friends at the holy temple at Vaitele Fou.

Their union was blessed by Rev. Iosefa Afutiti of Vaitele Fou EFKS Church which Luafata Simanu is a member.

After eight years of courting, they decided to take their relationship to the next level, and their journey as husband and wife began when they said “I do!”.

Speaking to the Samoa Observer after the nuptials, Mrs. Eneli said it was a whole new experience for the both of them, and they were excited to have taken that step.

Looking back at all the good and bad challenges that they have been through together, they were both thankful for fulfilling their dreams.

“We had a lot of challenges, heaps of ups and downs especially that he is a teacher at Palauli Sisifo College and I am teaching at Samoa College and most of the times we are apart from each other and have to overcome many obstacles.”

“Distance was one of the challenges but because of love we overcame it”

Families and friends were treated to a reception at NUS fale samoa.
