The Milly Rock Concert, headlined by the Lafaiali’i brothers on Saturday night at X-Club, has been hailed a success, with the brothers, Fa’aiuaso and SJ, vowing to return for more.

Known as “Danger Boe” and “SJ Demarco,” the upcoming stars said it was amazing to perform in front of friends, families and fans in Samoa and they are extremely grateful for the opportunity.

Danger Boe, whose real name is Fa’aiuaso Lafaiali’i, spoke on behalf of his brother SJ Demarco who left the country right after the concert.

“It was a pleasure for us to perform at home,” he said. “As artists who are residing overseas, we are trying to create music that will get to the world so it’s a privilege to start our concert in Samoa because we were born here.”

“We are definitely performing for Samoa in the near future. We are trying to get the music to the world and if it gets the world and people love it, that’s us bringing Samoa to the bigger world of music and that is our aim.”

Danger Boe added that in the future, they would be looking at a more open venue for their concert.

“We noticed from that night that most of our fans were the youngsters and it was sad for us because they were rejected given that there are rules for people to enter the nightclub,” he said.

“It wasn’t us it was our organizer but hopefully next time our organizer will get it right. People make the music and without the people we can’t get paid.”

“I acknowledge the support of everyone that came along to support us but the sad thing that was not all the people who wanted to see the show came along, but next time we will get it right.”

“I couldn’t get over the fact that the youngsters were not there that night. They are the future of our music but they weren’t able to come and it was really sad.”

That said, Danger Boe said the night overall was a great success.

“We acknowledge the love of our supporters who made the effort to come along and to those who couldn’t for various reasons,” they said.

“We also acknowledge the support of our sponsors including X-Club Samoa, AdAway Samoa, Best Value Supermarket Samoa, Taula Beverages Samoa, Tanoa Tusitala Hotel Samoa, TRANSAM, Duty Free Samoa, West style beauty salon, Farmer Joe’s Samoa, S.S.A.B, Apia Samoa and Urban Sounds.”

The brothers dedicated their music to Samoans all over the world.

“If you love our music, then it is dedicated to you.”

The brothers’ next concert will be in New Zealand, followed by Australia.
