Triple promotion ends with prize giving

The Back to School joint promotion by SSAB, Digicel and Farmer Joes ended ended on a high note yesterday with a prize giving ceremony hosted by Farmer Joes at Vaitele.

This marks the fourth year of the joint promotion with the three co-sponsors giving out a total of $5000 worth of vouchers to the winners. 

According to the SSAB marketing manager Asomua Asia Stanley, the promotion was a huge success.

“Digicel, Farmer Joe and SSAB equally contributed in terms of looking after the advertisements for Back to School and it’s all because we want our people to get these giveaways today.”

“We’re giving away a hundred $50 vouchers, 30 from Farmer Joe, 30 from Digicel and 40 from SSAB,” he said.

Asomua said the goal was to make sure their customers are happy whenever they visit their shops. The promotion lasted a whole month and the official results were drawn last Thursday.

“We actually invited the gambling authority to supervise and preside over the draw; three representatives from Farmer Joe as well as Digicel were able to attend.”

“All the entries were put in three different boxes and were able to draw out the winners from there,” she added.

Asomua told of the condition was to spend $30 or more at any of the joint sponsor stores and become eligible to enter the draw.

A father from Vailoa, who didn’t want to be identified, picked up a $50 voucher from Farmer Joe on behalf of his daughter.

He said the voucher will assist buy his daughter’s lunch next week, and he thanked the three companies on the initiative to give back to their customers.
