The inquest into the death of a young man whose body was found floating on the sea at Leauva’a has been adjourned until next week.

The body was discovered last month by youth members of Leauva’a village while playing volleyball at the Methodist compound.

The matter was then reported to the Police Post at Afega and the body was taken to the Hospital for an investigation.

The Police issued a public announcement calling for help from members of the public to identify the deceased.

Contacted for a comment yesterday, Police spokesperson Su’a Lemamea Tiumalu said the body remains unidentified.

“The  body  remains  unidentified,” said Su’a.  The Spokesperson said there were scratch marks on the man’s chest with a flower tattoo on his right arm with the word “warrior”.

The inquest is scheduled for Wednesday 30 November 2016.
