Celebration at Harvest Centre

It was a night of celebration for many especially the 30 graduands who walked down the aisle to receive their Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Masters after completing years of studies at different Biblical Theological Institutes around Samoa and in the Philippines.

Held at the Harvest Centre Hall at Lotopa, this is also the first time an event of such magnitude has been held where ten pastors graduated with Master of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees from the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary Academic.

Special guest for the night was the Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi who delivered the keynote speech and congratulated the graduates for their success.

“God chose you to be His servants and so today you have been chosen by God to go out to the world and spread the good news,” said Prime Minister.

“You have come a long way and you have sweated and suffered and today you have reaped with joy what you have sown.

“For some of you, you will be called to go out to the world and do God’s work and if you do, don’t forget that you will be going with God.

“He will be with you all the way.”

Tuilaepa also reminded them that the work of the Lord will be no easy task.

“Don’t worry because God has chosen you and so therefore He will look after you,” said Tuilaepa.

General Superintendent of the World Samoa Assemblies of God Rev. Siaosi Mageo encouraged the graduates that they were called to be servants not to be served.

“Remember you have been chosen as servants and not to be served,” he said.

“Do the work with honesty, don’t just preach the word but also walk in what you have been preaching about.

“The Lord will be with you always.”
