Primary school level rationale

Dear Editor,

Re: Samoa Airways Minister warned

Welcome to the business world.

Airline industry is serious business. Airline industry is a cut-throat business. This is just normal business practice. Fair and even competition.

As long as no laws have been broken then everything is ok.

It is all business strategy. Airline industry is not family affairs.

That is why governments don’t enter into business it is too risky.

A business (eg airline business) is out there to make a profit. This is why Samoa will only have 4 to 5 planes a day arriving for the next 5 years because of Primary School level business thinking.

The more airlines landing at Faleolo Airport the more tourists. The goal of government should be to let more airlines in.
