A trip to tourist destinations around the world brought couple Oda Schioetz and Christian Forner to Samoa.

It is their first time to this part of the world and to experience the warm weather in Samoa is a bonus for the couple.

“It’s very warm and different, which is something that differs from both our countries, but it’s cool and new,” Oda told the Dear Tourist team.

Oda, 25, is from Norway and her partner Christian, 23, is from Germany.

“We’re in a kind of world tour and we thought that we’d visit one of the most little bit less touristy islands, one of the more local and one of the most authentic kind of island.

“One thing Samoa is similar in with our countries is the friendly atmosphere and security. We feel that people are safe here in Samoa as it is back in our country,” Oda said. Christian, who is a vegetarian, couldn’t help but tell of the Samoan dishes that he found very delicious ad interesting.

They are currently staying at Olivia’s Accommodation and have only been in Samoa for two days.

“We’ll be here for two weeks and we wish to spend it as fun as we want it to be.”

The couple delightfully told the Dear Tourist team that they would return.
