Samoa College dominates Debate, Science Fair
Samoa College dominated the Land and Soil week inter-school Debate and Science Fair held this week. Eleven colleges took part.
They are Robert Louis Stevenson School, Avele College, Leifiifi College, Chanel College, Faleata College, Faatuatua College, Samoa College, Saint Joseph’s College, Saint Mary’s College, Wesley College and Church College Pesega.
The main goal of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (M.N.R.E.) is the promotion of awareness and to build the capacity for students to understand issues with regards to the soil and land use.
Samoa College walked away as the overall winner for both land and soil science fair and debates.
The official closing of the Land and Soil week was at Sagone, Itu-Salega on the big island of Savaii yesterday.
