Gap between rich and poor
Dear Editor
Re: Address hardship and poverty
To be even more specific it’s the growing gap between the haves and the have nots in Samoa as well as globally that’s causing the problem.
Whether it is between people in a country or between nations in the world, the problems of the world and in Samoa is the growing economic gap between those who have the resources and those who are victims of those who are stealing their resources without fair compensation.
Those that are accumulating and stealing more than their fair share are also destroying the environment in their greedy accumulation, leaving the poor to struggle even more.
Look at what will happen to the Samoan people if the virus destroys their taro plantation. More climate refugees to NZ and Australia.
