The Bank of the South Pacific (B.S.P) has shown its support for the Annie Grace Concert through a donation of $5,000.

The cheque was presented at the B.S.P main office with Annie Puletiuatoa-Tonumalii and her committee present. The concert which will take place this coming Saturday will showcase singer/songwriter Annie who will use her music and powerful testimony to showcase hope and the power of God in her life.

B.S.P Samoa General Manager, Maryann Lameko-Vaai, said the bank’s donation reflects its commitment to the community, especially in addressing some of the pressing issues of today.

“This is a great opportunity to be part of the message Annie is here to share; we look forward to what we can do to help,” she said. “As an organization, we support the communities that we operate in, and the view is really to help our people to grow and to develop.

“We believe that with this modest sponsorship, B.S.P is sowing seeds in the spiritual lives of our people. In particular the powerful message of restoration through the grace of God that’s in the powerful testimony of Annie.”

The Chairman of the Grace Restores Committee, Leota Kosi Latu, thanked BSP for their support.

“We are supporting this because we believe it is an incredible opportunity for our people, not only to hear the message of hope and restoration, but it’s something that I hope people will take home with them.”

Leota also briefly mentioned the intentions of hope the concert aims to achieve.

“The intention is to convey that message of hope to the people especially to the youth and those who can relate to Annie’s story,” he said.

“There is hope in the midst of all the challenges and difficulties that we all go through in life, we all have our stories and our own journeys that we take. I think Annie is a very special lady with an extraordinary story that we all want the people of Samoa to hear.”

The support of everyone towards the running of the concert also touched the heart of Leota.

“What is encouraging and heartwarming for us is to see that the private and corporate sectors who have vital roles in Samoa are backing up these initiatives which are not in the mainstream of your work,” he said.

“You see the importance of social responsibility and provide that support to ensure something like this works.”

Annie, who is currently going through bone-marrow treatment still managed to find strength to attend the donation to personally deliver her thanks to B.S.P.

“We don’t take this lightly, I am truly honored and humbled to be here, I am going through bone marrow treatment right now, but what an honor it is to sit amongst you, especially a Godly C.E.O that is leading this organization with the grace of God,” she said.

“I am humbled and truly blessed to be sponsored by B.S.P, it has been a long journey but I praise the Lord for you and thank you to the organizing committee, we are here to serve our nation and to glorify the Lord and to declare the message of hope. If it wasn’t for Jesus, I wouldn’t be here today.”
